ABOUT ME

My name is Asia, I'm from Gdansk, Poland. After graduating from high school I decided to take a gap year and travel for a bit! So far I was able to spent six months in US and my next destination is Asia. In October I'm starting Writing, Directing and Performing for Theatre course at University of York in UK. I haven't visited England yet, but it will be amazing experience to move there for ~3 years. I love film and theatre, my biggest passions are directing and art. I'm very socially involved, I fight for equality and participate in many anti-bullying and LGBT events.

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy and let everybody else be happy. Still trying to figure out my life and my personal philosophy, I hope traveling will help me. All I know is that I hate intolerance and bullying. I live my life to help people and try make everybody around me happy.

Interests

Film and theatre, art, music, cooking (especially Asian cuisine!), philosophy (still going through Zizek and Lacan) and probably many many more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh there's so much! Movies - I love David Lynch, Roman Polanski, Stanley Kubrick. My new obsession is Kar Wai Wong.
Music - So much and so different. Sting, Depeche Mode, REM, Leonard Cohen, BANKS, Kate Bush, Emeli Sande, Nick Cave... So I guess mostly 80s and early 90s?
Books - This is hard, because I unfortunately don't read that often anymore. Recently I got myself into Murakami's books and I love it. I also read a lot of philosophy books. I prefer philosophy books or biographies, psychological books than fiction.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to be better at Yoga. And learn about different cultures. I can teach languages or expressing yourself with theatre!
