About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See a bit of the world and meet other travellers :)

ABOUT ME

I am currently travelling - In Croatia atm :)

I am 23, I graduated from University with a Bachelor of Communications (Public Relations) in 2007. I worked part time for a local Website called OutInCanberra.com.au so I am all about promoting what's happening in and around Canberra (it can be quiet but there is plenty on if you know where to look!)

Some say I'm a little crazy, but I'm also loyal, a good friend, and I'm motivated and inspired by people and experiences.

I easily awed by the beaty of things, a flower or the sky or an animal. Sounds cliched but it's true.

I am an Aquarian.

PHILOSOPHY

"Be the change you want to see in the world"

Here's to the Crazy Ones!

The rebels.

The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently.

They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,
disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.

Because they change things.

They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.

How else can you stare at an empty canvas & see a work of art?
Or, sit in silence & hear a song that's never been written?
Or, gaze at a red planet & see a laboratory on wheels?

We make tools for these kinds of people.

While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

"Because the people who are crazy enough to think they
can change the world, are the ones who do."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host couch surfers in Canberra and show them around. I would also like to use this community when I begin my travels in Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences thus far have been positive and rewarding.

Interests

I enjoy: wake-boarding, exercising, having coffee with friends, reading the paper and books, sunshine, the beach, my dog "Maddy", socialising, going out for dinner/drinks/dancing, going away, hanging out with my 3 little cousins under the age of ten, the snow, shopping, learning new things, meeting people who interest and challenge me, looking at and taking photos, talking to friends and family.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Ronnie" by Ronnie Wood (is what I'm reading at the moment...)
The last movie I watched was Amelie, and I really enjoyed it...
I like a variety of music... I'm going to see Kings of Leon soon and I'm VERY excited! I'm also going to the EXIT festival in Serbia in July...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The birth of a foal

Teach, Learn, Share

“Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous.”
-Carrie Bradshaw
