About Me
Hey there!
I'm currently studying politics, sociology, german linguistics and literature at the University of Bremen but live in Hamburg.
I am quiet happy to have been born and raised in such a beautiful city as Hamburg, though I still try to flee from it as often as possible because I always had a really strong urge to explore more than just my direct surroundings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because it isn't only an easy and cheap way to travel, but rather a great opportunity to get a proper insight into the way that locals live.
Whenever I'm visiting another country, I am more interested in it's culture and true feel than in tourist sights or landscape and I think CS is a great way to experience just that.
Interests
I play ukulele and had some piano lessons in the past, though I forgot almost everything and I've been doing poetry slam for a few years now.
I'm really into politics and learning about different cultures and I love a good conversation, especially when they turn into a respectful discussion.

Music, Movies, and Books
Wow, this is getting hard now.
I'm way too much into all of these three to pick just one each, so I guess I'll just list some.
Musically I am actually quiet open to everything as long as I get the impression that it's made wholeheartedly, as I enjoy almost everything from classical music to rap.
My favorite movies so far are:
Old Boy, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Victoria (German), the `Liebe, Tod und Teufel' Trilogy by Fatih Akin (German), Raspberry Reich, Persepolis, Dr. Strangelove, masculin féminin,...
I can't remember the last time I didn't have a book to read, so if I'd give naming my fave book an honest try, it would probably end up an even longer list than the film one, where I already had a hard time limiting myself. So let's just say that I mostly read about political science and theory, but sometimes like to throw in a graphic novel, some poetry or other novels to loosen it up a little.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled through the netherlands on a house boat for a few weeks with a bunch of friends, traveled through sweden for two weeks in a canoe and camping on uninhabited tiny islands, solo-traveled iran, hiked 200km through bavaria in a week.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been told I'm quiet a good cook, so I'd love to cook something for you guys.
Also I've been raised bilingual so I could teach you some german or english if you're not a native.
I'd love to learn anything that you're willing to teach, but I'd be more than happy to try and learn some of your native language.
I also take big interest in music so if you play any instrument you'd like to teach, I'd really appreciate it if you'd give me a little lesson, even though I wouldn't really consider myself a quick learner when it comes to this.
But as always, so little to teach, so much to learn...
