About Me

Hello I'm a french woman, I have just been finishing my studies of speech therapist in Brussels in Belgium, where I lived during 4 years. Now I'm looking for making an equivalence of my graduate if I wish to work in France one day, which means that I need to make practical courses again during a few months. After that, I hope I can travel to work in different countries, maybe in the islands.

I am rather an optimistic and dreamy woman.
I believe in the values advocating the solidarity between the people, which can explain my commitment in the field of the social.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the contact with people and sharing experiences. I like immersing myself into new cultures, discovering the story of the countries, their legends.

Interests

I listen to a lot of music, I love discovering new artists. I play guitar a little too. During a trip in Burkina Faso, I have discovered capoeira and I am learning this martial art since this year.

I like spending time with my friends, go to the movies, seeing concerts, go to the theatre or to art exhibitions, hiking and traveling, reading, ...

I begin the practice of meditation because I believe in the impact which its practice can have on our well-being to the everyday life: live more the present moment, learn to know each other by drawing from its internal resources. It is difficult in a society where we are constantly brought to anticipate, to plan everything and to run after time.

I am very much interested in the vineyard and I make the harvest every year.
Belgium also taught me the art of the tasting of beers, inescapable ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like very various styles of music, jazz in particular (I'm a big fan of the trompetist Ibrahim Maalouf), the musics of the Balkans, the Oriental and African musics, Guajira (Cuban music), Swing and Electro-swing, Soul, French music, Rock, Flamenco, Reggae, Ska, ...

I like reading books which talk about current problems of society, philosophic books and particularly those exposing theories concerning the personal developement and the ecology. I like novels too.

I watch a lot of movies, my favorites are those of Xavier Dolan. The Lord of the Ring is an inescapable movie for me!
