Bonjour ! Je suis Joanne, j’entre dans la vingtaine et je suis originaire de Toulouse, ma ville natale. Depuis toute petite, mes parents nous ont toujours embarqués, ma sœur et moi aux quatre coins du monde. Que ce sois par la mer, par la terre ou par les airs. Ils m’ont transmis cet indéniable goût pour le voyage et m’ont ouvert les yeux et l’esprit sur le monde et ses différentes cultures. Je dirai que cette envie de rencontre et de découverte, a trouvé son apogée lorsque nous déménagèrent pour vivre 4 ans à Tahiti. Ce séjour m’a ouvert d’autres portes, j’ai découvert de nouveaux horizons, et surtout une autre façon d’aborder la vie. Cette vie près de la nature et des bonheurs simples a boosté ma créativité. Je suis passionnée par les arts de manière générale et particulièrement par les arts plastiques. J'aime créer des objets ou petites oeuvres d'art en m'inspirant des différentes cultures que j'ai abordé lors de mes voyages.
Je suis une personne curieuse, simple, calme, qui apprécie chaque petit plaisir de la vie, qui sait se faire discrète et s'adapter à différentes situations. En toute modestie, on me dit souvent que je suis très mature pour mon âge.

Hi i’m Joanne and I’am in the twenties and i come from Toulouse, where i’m born. Since my birth, our parents brought my sister and me everywhere on the globe. They learned me how to love travelling, to appreciate each meeting, to discover new cultures, to be curious and opendminded. The best thing they offered me which helped me to understand who I am, are those 4 years living at Tahiti. I have discover a new way of life, appreciating each pleasure of life, I meat amazing people ; and enjoying the island wild nature boosted my creativity . I practice and love all kind of arts, especially paints and draw. I lcreate some little artworks by inspiring me from my differents travels.
I am really curious, simple minded, calm, appreciating each little pleasure of life and i can easily and quickly adapt myself to different situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing permet pour moi, de rendre service et surtout de faire des rencontres, et parfois échanger sur des intérêts commun. Ma meilleure expérience fut quand je logeais 15 jours chez une dame ingénieure tout juste retraitée, seule dans sa maison de famille et venant de finaliser une formation de tapissier sur meuble. J’ai été fasciné par sa passion encore jeune et nous en avons beaucoup discuté, nous avons de suite tissé un lien autour de l’art.

Couch surfing is for me, a way of meeting people, learning a lot of things and exchange of our way of living.
My best expérience, was last year when a lovely woman hosted me during 2 weeks. She just ended her carrier of engineer, she lived alone in her family house and she just finished a furniture upholsterer training. I have been fascinated by her new passion and we easily and quickly a strong relation around art.

Travelling !! Maybe because travelling allow me to do all I love : listen music, read, think about life, do nothing, draw and paint what I see, whrite, meet new people, discover new landscape and new cultures

Je fais du piano depuis une dizaine d'année, j'aime beaucoup le jazz et la musique classique. J'aime bien les artistes qui essaient de mélanger plusieurs styles (jazz et orient / reggae et jazz ....)

I play piano since 10 years, I really like jazz and classic. But I really appreciate artists who mix different style : orient jazz, reggae jazz

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’m actually living an extraordinary experience ! With my boyfriend, we chose to make a 1 year break in our architecture studies to travel all around Europe, we worked during 6 month and we began on January the 5ft.
We wan’t to experience architecture more than learn it at school and we are especially looking for compact, sustanaible and social architecture because we think it is the way we will have to conceive architecture in the future.

J'aime beaucoup cuisiner et je serai ravie de partager des recettes et de bons moments autour de la préparation du repas et du repas lui-même. J’adore découvrir les spécialités locales et déguster des mets inconnus. Si vous avez des enfants’ ce sera un réel plaisir pour moi de partager des moments avec eux, j’ai souvent un très bons feeling avec eux. Et si vous avez un peu de temps en journée, j’adorerai vous faire partager mes connaissances pour vous faire découvrir ma ville ou, dans la situation contraire, j’adorerai que vous me transmettiez quelques bonnes adresses.

I really love cooking and would love to share some moments around cooking, but we can share many other kind of moments ! I'm really open-minded ! I love to discover local culinary specialities and taste unknown plates.
If you have children, it would be a pleasure for me to spend time with us, I got a really good feeling with children.
And if you have some time during the day, I can do a private visit of my city and its treasures or at the contrary I will enjoy to discover your favorites places in your city.
