Joe and JoAnne have lived in Sacramento for almost 30 years. JoAnne is originally from Mill Valley, CA. Joe is originally from Boston, MA. We met and lived in San Francisco before moving to Sacramento. JoAnne works as a Digital Marketing Strategist at Shriners Hospitals for Children - Northern California. Joe is a general contractor and his hobbies are drums and golf. We love to hike, travel and meet new friends. We have a small rescue dog named Sammy. We think he is a "dorkie" terrier (Dachshund/Yorkie).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to travel and meet new people. We love to host couchsurfers who embody the couchsurfing spirit of community and cultural exchange. We have learned and shared so much with our couch surfers. We miss traveling and meeting great people but couchsurfing can bring great people to us. We would love to share a meal and a laugh to make you feel at home.

JoAnne has walked 3 long distance pilgrimages (Spain, Portugal, Denmark) and Joe got a hole-in-one (same odds as dying in an Asteroid Apocalypse, 1 in 12,500 - if you believe the Daily Beast!)

Teach, Learn, Share

JoAnne is a life-long learner and continues to take courses at our local college. She can teach you to make a home made apple pie or chocolate cake and would love to share a good laugh. Joe is a constant student in the art of golf and drumming and would love to share a beer or have a jam session if you have a guitar.
