I am Joanne or Josephine whichever you prefer just know im not a Jo. I've been travelling since may 2016 (apart from covid times) around Asia and the surrounding areas, I'm still relatively new to staying with hosts on my own and have only a few people from this site so far...I really want to get more into this site as a way to get to know people and learn about the culture of the place I'm in.

I have met some of my greatest friends whilst travelling and have met up with them many times since all around the world, i just love it!!

Im going to America in October, starting in Chicago for the marathon eeeek!! Then im going to be travelling for 2 months, first down through the states to Albuquerque and travelling around New mexico with my friend after that who knows. I cannot wait to meet new people, see the different way of life, shared stories and explore!! I love walking around seeing random things people, don't often just go straight from A to B, I love local life and love to find out their secrets and recipes!
I love learning from people!!!
I am looking for people who want to share experiences, culture and hopefully recipes, If you want to know anything else or just hangout then please get in touch.

Please note if you want me to be locked out for the whole day then this may not work, I have endometriosis and menieres so sometimes I will need to come back to rest, I hope you understand and this doesn't put you off, it's just what life has dealt me and I have to live and get on with the best I can, if I want to see the world I need to go for it!!!. I'm trying to live my best and happy life and see everything the world has to offer, but I do sometimes have limitations sadly I often push through, but I am a very positive person and I would love to meet like minded travelling, amazing people from all walks of life.

I've joined couch surfing to meet incredible people, to be taught new and exciting things and to explore. I am also fine with the host being busy and I get on with my own thing, I am tidy and considerate, and I love travelling the world. I can cook.

Elephants for the first time at a sanctuary in Chiang mai.
Completed the London marathon & Belin, (next Chicago marathon in October!) Not a runner just very determined)
Have seen my top bucket list places the great wall of China, Taj Mahal, orangutans in Borneo, taisers in the Philippines, elephants in Thailand!!! But I have many many more!
Hiking in China Tiger leaping gorge.
Road tripping the national parks in America.
Road tripping around northern ireland seeing game of thrones sites.
Solo travelling around china seeing some very ancient towns.
Solo travelling around Japan, hiking up many mountain seeing various temples and the landscapes and people are absolutely breathtaking!
