About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel around the world in 215 days.
ABOUT ME
Just finished my PGCE in secondary Geography and decided to take a year out before the world of work. So traveling around the world for 7 months and having an amazing time. Meeting loads of cool people and experiencing lots of new things. Couch surfing is something I'm new too and think it would be a great thing to try while traveling and a way to meet more people.
PHILOSOPHY
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to the world of couch surfing as I've just heard about it but can't wait to get involved. I'm looking forward to staying with people while traveling. Will be nice to stay in a home after months in hostels/ guesthouses. Would love to help out other travellers by hosting when I get back to England and holding networking socials.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Currently staying on a couch in Sydney for a week and I love it. The best experience of our 4 month travells so far. I now love couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a few days meditating at a Buddhist retreat run by monks in Thailand.
Sharing a rickshaw with some children who despite living in poverty seemed really happy and were very funny and always smiling.
Been added on facebook by a Buddhist monk.
Going the wrong way round a roundabout and wrong way up the road in India.
Set up a youth group for children with Aspergers syndrome and seeing them benifit.
Staying with a lady and her 6 children in Nicaragua who were some of the friendliest most welcoming people I've met. One of the nicest placest I've stayed despite the lack of running water or electricity. i enjoyes the trip to the well at 5am.
Teach, Learn, Share
My favorite part of traveling so far has been learning about different cultures and traditions and think actually staying with people who live in a place will really help me appreciate the place and city.
Also really nice to see how much pride people have of where they live so would like to host when I return home and help people see England.
