One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two years ago, I went to Venice with my friends, and then I met a young girl, Carmen from Hong Kong, she was crying because her bf just left without notice, her luggage was stuck in previous stop - Paris.. She had little money but only her possport.
I was totally shock when Carmen told me about that, and felt really angry about that guy..
Next day, we went to the airport in Venice, to see if we could contact the Paris airport...
But the staffs kept us waiting and took the whole day to check, and told us they didn't know when the luggage could be delivered.
I was worried I got to leave tmr back to London...But I didn't want to leave Carmen alone in Venice...
Carmen can't stop crying...
And then, an Italian lady, around 50 years old, came to us and asked if she could help. I told her the whole story, and she told us not to worry. She made a phone call (I didnn't understand what she was saying as she was talking in Italian..) After 10 mins, she said she knew where is the luggage, was stuck in some cargo in Paris, and she has arranged the luggage to be delivered to Venice by tmr morning.
And Carmen could stay in her home that nigh.
I felt so happy and grateful to meet such a wonderful and kind woman, she gave us a hand when we were in needs!
See, there's always good people in the world!!!
