About Me

I can be very quiet when I first meet someone or I'm in a situation I'm not familiar with but once I get used to people around I can be very talkative.

Often times, people would think I'm unapproachable but I'm actually quite a warm person.

Listener or talker?
Depends on the person I meet. Most of the time, I enjoy listening to people sharing their stories and experiences.

I love exploring and trying new things. Just anything!

Okay, I'm actually not very good at describing myself. Let's meet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I get to know about CS through a book written by a backpacker.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing helped me a lot during my first ever solo backpack trip in Penang. Through CS, I get to know a few locals even before I step on the land of Penang. They showed me around the city I was travelling in and gave me some useful advises as a solo traveler seeing that it was my first time travelling alone. So heartwarming! Also, I attended the weekly CS meeting in Penang (first time!) and I met some cool people from different walks of life. So inspired by the stories and experiences shared by the others. I've hosted people but I've never surfed any couch before. As yet, my CS experience is a positive one and I'm glad I'm part of this community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I joined the sea turtle volunteer program in Redang Island back in 2011. It was an awesome experience where I get to meet people who are passionate about the nature as well as doing conservation work. The best part of it is that I get to witness the process of turtles laying eggs, which I think is once-of-a-lifetime opportunity. That was also the first time I get so close up to nature and away from civilization. and I bet a lot of people have never seen shooting stars before. Well, I see shooting stars almost every night while sleeping on the beach. Snorkeling is one of my favourite when I was there.
