Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started couchsurfing when I had decided to travel to a new continent - Europe. Learning to connect with other souls on earth. To see each country, culture, race by mixing and communicating with them.
Also, I had always been shy and not willing to talk much. It was a challenge for me to open up myself by sharing thoughts and opinions.
ALL COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Landed in Amsterdam on 7th October 2014, the commence of my couchsurfing experience.
I have been to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Maastricht in the Netherlands. Brussels, Brugge and Ghent in Belgium.
Since Nov 2014, I started traveling in France : Paris, Le Havre, Caen, Pontorson, Le Mans, Tours, Nantes, Bordeaux, Provence, Lyon and Picardie.
England- London, Peterborough, Cambridge, Brighton, Hastings, Rye, Canterbury, Somerset.
Germany- Hamburg, Berlin, Nuremberg.
Austria- Salzburg, Hallstaat, Vienna.
Interests
I read on Jiddu Krishnamurti, Goenka ( Vipassana meditation), Tao Te King (Dao De Jing).
I love to observe my own monkey mind. I am trying to develop a deeper sense of awareness .

Music, Movies, and Books
No particular movies but I like Denzel Washington. Any kind of music depending on mood. My favourite songs are " You Raise Me Up (Por Ti Sere) and Love is all (by Yanni). As I am learning German, I become interested in watching German movies nowadays.
The book that influenced me most is Walden by Henry David Thoreau.
I like J. Krishnamurti who inspired me on awareness and consciousness.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Practising Vipassana meditation and come to a better understanding of life.
I have started couchsurfing & workawaying.
I have started to learn German, a language that Mark Twain called it "awful" :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to speak Mandarin and some Chinese dialects. I can tell you a little bit about the history of my country and Chinese around the world.
I know a bit of Chinese cupping and Gua Sha which is a traditional and holistic therapy. I can share with you about Chinese cooking and nutritions for maintaining good health. I can share with you on parenting and educting kids as I was once a high school teacher and I had taught in kindergarten. I can help you with your planning if you plan to visit Malaysia, China or HongKong. I have some experience to share if you are interested in the new age movement and awakening growth. I would like to learn languages, cultures and philosophy. I love to explore the difference of educational ideas and attitudes towards humanity among different cultures.
