About Me

Hey there! There's nothing too different between you and I: we're made of star stuff, our genetic code is 99,9% equal and we both like the same food - pizza!

Just like most travellers in this platform, I'm a very curious human and therefore I like going to places and meeting the locals. At the present point of my life I'm spending my savings on traveling alone in South America until the end of October. I'm also going to do some weeks of voluntary work.

I consider myself an optimist, I praise all forms of creativity and I often wonder whether 'the answer' lays in love, music, or of course in free hugs. One of my main present goals is to really connect to the people I meet along the journey. Hope I can meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined CS in 2015 just before I did an interrail for a month. I had 5 hosts who were unbelievably awesome and now I see CS as simply the best traveling and culture exchange platform there is. However I'm just starting my own profile, because I used to have a shared one. So I'm simply disguised as a newbie, fooling most peopleee.
I feel that staying at a locals' house is the best way to get immersed in the culture and get to know some of the less touristic but interesting places. Also I have the best memories and stories because of CS and the thing I like the most is the pure sharing phenomenon that occurs. What can I say... It just gives me a bunch of hope in humanité!

Interests

I'm very open to new experiences and I love trying new things, but a few activities just make me comeback for more. Lately I find myself dedicating time to making music, making friends, exploring the world and exploring who I am. I also love partying and won't make it through these 2 and a half months without it, so if you l like celebrating life, in any shape of form, let me please be your guest :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is possibly my strongest passion, burning ever since. Right now I'm exploring jazz, funk, soul as well as techno and psychedelic trance. I'm also pretty literate at Rock&Roll so bring it! I played classical piano for over a decade and am now about to accomplish a decade of drumming.

I don't read nearly as much as I would like to, but that makes it easy to point out my favourites: Siddhartha, Man's Search for Meaning, When Nietzsche Wept, Embers, The Unbearable Lightness of Being and currently reading The Power of Now. Also love crime novels by Agatha Christie and Robert Wilson.

Movies are too hard to mention!!! So I'll just say Tarantino, Lynch, Coppola, Kubrick, Gaspar Noé, Guy Ritchie and maaaany more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living for 6 months in Berlin. Boy did that place steal a big chunk of my heart... But I've met so many kind, interesting and freaking cool people that I couldn't avoid grabbing a bit of that spirit for myself, which I try to carry with me at all times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach music, specially rhythm. I can teach all the languages I know and I guess everything I know I'm willing to teach. Share the artists I love to who's on a similar musical exploration. I would love to learn about you, your culture, stories, expressions, tricks, jokes...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I offer my full attention, my heart, an open mind, my not-so-impressive cooking skills, and I will help with whatever I can.
