About Me

I am a 23 years old plastic artist, friendly, but a little bit shy. I like to have fun in many ways: reading, listening to music, watching good movies, sharing experiences and stories, discovering new things... Basically anything that allows me to grow as a person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends told me it would be a cheap way to find a place to stay, but I had no idea that it allows people to meet new people, and share experiences, so I am eager to know how it works!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Folkestone, England to work at a camping site, then was invited to join an exhibition, where I had to create an installation (something that I have never done before other than in college), while having almost no money to spend on it.
The whole purpose of the exhibition was to create an object that would be exhibited for 3 months, until the building was torn appart.
It was amazing to be working for one week with other artists with a complete different plastic language and perspective, as well as building something that I have never done before with a budget of around 7 pounds, while I was 2000 km away from my confort zone.
The result was inspired from Freud's Ocean Feeling, and it was a room that felt like a maternal womb, all covered with noise cancelling foam that I took from the ceiling, and in the complete darkness and warmth. People were invited to meditate in the only time we were ever physically connected with someone. I felt very happy and accomplished, it was an amazing thing that I have done.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything in the music, books and movies category, perspectives on the world, share a laugh, and life experiences!
I can teach how to speak portuguese, some knowledge on art, some bricolage skills, some general knowledge, and we cold paint together!
There is no limit to the things I want to learn, and I know that everyone has lots of interesting things to show. Also, some help and references to the city of Madrid.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Would be happy to donate a painting of mine to the host!
