Overview
About Me
I'm a 32 year-old from Portugal who wanted a break from the office life. I've quit my job in March 2019 and will be cycling in a (mostly) northerly direction until I can't anymore. Eventually, I'll get to Nordkinn, which is the northernmost point in Europe, and I'll also visit Nordkapp, which is actually on an island, but it's where the Norwegians set up all the touristy stuff. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like to travel off the beaten path and to be open to experience places that weren't made for tourism. Couchsurfing is excellent in that regard, since you can actually get a taste of a place's culture, as the locals experience it.
I'm also a big nerd, so I can geek out on computers, cars or rockets, if you like that sort of thing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because hotels are generally fake and boring. CS is basically the hostel experience without the downsides! What's not to like?

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to cook a meal for you! My top hits are salmon with couscous and this great pea soup. Grilled meat with some stir-fry is definitely also on the menu.
I'll be bringing some tools for the bike on my tour, so if a bike or something else in your home needs fixing, I can give it a shot.
I'm also good with computers.
