I graduated in Journalism and I have worked in technology companies. Now I am in a year of (re-) discovering the Latin America paths! Passing through all the countries of the South of the continent, I intend to meet new people, share stories, learn and also teach!
I'm very easygoing, I have eight dogs and three cats, I love poetry, I make friends easily and I think a good chat is worth more than anything. As the Uruguayan author Eduardo Galeano would say: "we are not made out of atoms, we are made out of stories!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Estou embarcando em uma viagem de um ano pela América Latina apostando na solidariedade de pessoas desconhecidas mas que, assim como eu, acreditam que a onda de colaboração e compartilhamento entre gente comum de todo canto do mundo proporcionada por plataformas como a Couchsurf esta transformando o planeta em um lugar mais amigável, divertido e gentil. Vivenciar essa revolução e poder conhecer pessoas incríveis, imergir em suas culturas e compartilhar histórias é o que me motiva. Como diria o escritor Eduardo Galeano, nós não somos feitos de átomos, nós somos feitos de histórias!

I am embarking on a year-long Latin American trip betting on the solidarity of unknown people but, like me, who believe that this wave of collaboration and sharing among ordinary people from every corner of the world (provided by platforms such as Couchsurfing), is turning the planet into a more friendly, fun and gentle place. To experience this revolution and to be able to meet amazing people, to immerse myself in their cultures and to share stories is what motivates me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sou apaixonado por música e gosto de todos os estilos! Meu dia a dia é pautado pelo ritmo dos fones de ouvido. O que mais gosto de escutar é Música Popular Brasileira e Rock Clássico. No entanto não vai ser nada difícil achar em minha playlist uma séria de músicas clássicas, Rap, ritmos latinos, Bossa Nova, Funk e muito mais! Aliás, música é um dos meus assuntos favoritos! Vou ficar muito feliz de poder compartilhar meus interesses e conhecer coisas novas.

Fiz diversas disciplinas de cinema na faculdade. Quando posso, vejo um filme por dia. Neste campo também não tenho desafetos, assisto todo tipo de filme. Mas tenho alguns diretores prediletos:

I love music and I like all styles! Brazilian Popular Music and Rock is my favorite ones.
However, it will not be difficult to find in my playlist: classic songs, Rap, Latin rhythms, Bossa Nova, Funk and more! By the way, music is one of my favorite subjects! I will be very happy to share my interests and know new things.
I did several film disciplines in college. When I can, I watch a movie every day and watch all kinds of movies. But I have some favorite directors:

Is it okay to tell what I'm doing right now? Getting to know (almost) all the countries of Latin America in a backpacking trip with no deadline, experiencing an year of much learning and sharing incredible experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sou apaixonado por estudar novos conteúdos e por me arriscar em diversas áreas de conhecimento. Sou formado em Jornalismo e já atuei na área, mas também na área de vendas de uma empresa de tecnologia.
O que posso ensinar: histórias em quadrinhos e filosofia (este foi o tema da minha monografia!), pedagogia nas novas mídias, produção audiovisual (ministrei oficinas de audiovisual em projetos sociais), mídias sociais, inbound sales, inbound marketing.
O que estou procurando aprender: Permacultura, Bioconstrução, Turismo ecológico e rural, Economia solidária, Aprofundar meu domínio do espanhol e do inglês.
O que gosto de compartilhar: Adoro conversar sobre filosofia, literatura, música, experiências de vida e esportes, principalmente trekking e ciclismo.

I am passionate about studying new subjects and for risking myself in several areas of knowledge. I have a degree in Journalism and have worked in this area, but also in the sales area of a tech company.
What I can teach: comics and philosophy (this was the theme of my graduation thesis!), Pedagogy in the new media, audiovisual production (I have taught audiovisual workshops in social projects), social media, inbound sales, inbound marketing.
What I am looking forward to learn: Permaculture, Bioconstruction, Ecological and rural tourism, Solidarity economy, and to deepen my knowledge in Spanish and English.
What I like to share: I love talking about philosophy, literature, music, life experiences and sports, specially trekking and cycling.

Once I have worked as a pizzaiolo! So I know how to make great pizza, besides cooking relatively well (and with a lot of love and affection!). I can also make caipirinhas to cheer up conversations among friends. I am responsible and organized, so I am not lazy to clean up bathrooms!
