ABOUT ME

Where to start?...
I'm a 25 old Portuguese guy, studying English and Film at Napier University and pretty much loving his life in Edinburgh.
It's not the first time I study abroad, as 4 years ago I was an exchange student in Bern, Switzerland, probably my most rewarding experience so far, basically where my passion for travelling and meeting new people ignited for good.
I have to say I'm a newcomer to this world of couchsurfing, but really looking forward to get the most of it, both by hosting and surfing around =)

Interests

I like to see myself as an amateur photographer, even though "amateur" might be actually quite a flattering term for my relationship with photography, as I feel I still have a long way to go on that road. Anyway, feel free to take a look at my "work": http://www.flickr.com/photos/24456291@N05/
Besides that, music is my other lover. Tried the bass and the drums, but I am currently settling with the guitar. Let's see how it goes =)

Charles Bukowski, Hunter S. Thompson, Roberto Bolaño are among my personal favourite authors at the moment

It's almost impossible to list my favourite movies, but there are some that definitely left their mark during my lifetime: The Big Lebowski, Se7en, Fight Club, Garden State, The Prestige, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Das Leben der Anderen, Reprise, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Adaptation, Snatch, Death Proof, Reservoir Dogs and many others that I can't think of right now.
