About Me
Upbeat, positive guy, with a very calm and quiet attitude.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet new people and new philosophies is always amazing. The world is not an unanimity, and learning where these differences lie and how they make us all equal is a wonderful experience.
Interests
I am an RPG player. Me and my wife love playing it, and if you are a fellow player, let's talk! Also, literature, philosophy, games, video games and sports. Even though I haven't started on them yet, I do want to try winter outdoor sports!

Music, Movies, and Books
The music I like is a mixture of all things "rockish", from heavy metal to blues, folk, country, swing and 20's. Also a bit of rap, a bit of classical, and experimental.
Movies... It's been a while since I've been to the movies, and even longer since Hollywood amazed me with anything. I like the hipster, indie stuff, I admit it.
As for books, the great literature of the 20th century and late 19th: Machado de Assis, Dostoiesvky, Kafka, Sartre, Camus, Beckett, Rosa and Lispector are good names. I *really* love talking about Literature and Philosophy. I'm trying my hand at writing a novel myself.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took part in saving an old man's life! Seriously, long story short: he and I were talking at the bus stop,we didn't know each other, and out of the blue, he faints. I called an ambulance, but the city had riots going on and a strong downpour that prevented the ambulance from arriving. Me and some dudes put him in a bus that passed by a hospital, and took him there. In the end, he was having a brain stoke, and survived only because he had "fast" medical help.
Teach, Learn, Share
Mathematics, physics, electricity, a little bit of philosophy, and hey, believe me: Brazilian Literature is AWESOME! I'd love to talk about our authors. Language interchange is always amazing, and I'd be thrilled to see my hosts' reaction to the fact that, in Portuguese, a table is a she, a computer is a he, and how almost everything in my language has a gender - but some don't. =p
What I Can Share with Hosts
Other than help with the basic house chores, I can bring a very matter-of-factly view of Brazil, and existentialist philosophy. I am a writer wannabe, and have a PASSION for all things related to existentialism. Also, how electrical things are made up, and even some electrical tinkering, count on me!
