About Me

I'm a environmental engineering student in Rennes, dj on a small side, music and movies lover. I moved from my country, Brasil, to France last year, it was something i always wanted to do (to live in Europe), and so far the experience has been amazing and challenging.

I used to live by the sea and I miss the salty smell of the ocean a lot. Normally I prefer sunny days, but rainy ones have their places as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's so nice to meet different people, and everyone I met because of Couchsurfing where special ones, and i hope to be able to expand this number more and more.
I've started to live as an expat, and because of that i'm trying to get together with different groups, minds and souls.

I hope we can share a nice experience and one refreshing caipirinha!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

This is really hard, so much stuff to talk about, too many things I like:

Music: i don't have a favorite artist, but a lot of them. What I really like is good music, doesn't matter the style or genre, vocal or instrumental. I have a special passion for brazilian and electronic music, but also love jazz, rock, soul, funk, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90...can mention reggae, dub, r&b, drum&bass, trap, experimental...and on and on...

Movies: I'm a huge fan of documentaries, fictional or not. Also i'm into the classics and the new ones. Small european screenings to Star Wars, you name it.

Books: Same thing here, lots of stuff. Nowadays i'm a little into brazilian colonial history, some science, biographies and fictions. But always open to new books!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once i had the opportunity to play for 1500 people in New Years Eve, at a beach party. Normally I prefer small and intimate parties, but it was an awesome experience to see this much people into my music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could try to teach portuguese and french.
I can, and you will easily learn, teach you how to do a tasty caipirinha and a good mojito.
I would love to share my musical and movies tastes, good places to eat, go and travel. Looking forward to share my friends and their friendship as well.
I'd like to learn from different cultures, languages and tastes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't own too much stuff, but I'll be glad to share my experiences, tastes and what i know about the city I'm living.
