About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Europe journey!

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm João (portuguese name for John), I'm a 23 years old engineering student who lives in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I'm a calm and curious guy, traveller by nature, and I really enjoy talking and discovering new things and realities. People may expect respect and a smile coming from my part. I'm discrete and if I'm in someone else's home a simple place to stay is all I already need to be thankful and happy :) .

PHILOSOPHY

Time is necessarily going to pass, we can optionally pass it in a harder or in a better way, in a bad or in a good mood :). Try to learn things from each stage of life with its own good and bad characteristics, both are there to make it more interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience with couchsurfing as a host was really great, I intend to do it again.

Interests

There's nothing specific I interest, culture, economics, politics, engineering, etc, anything that shows up... and get to know new things, because new interests appear too from things we don't know yet they're nice.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many kinds of music, movies and books. Some of the brazilian bands I like a lot are Skank and Los Hermanos with a soft rock, and from foreign bands I can say Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, etc. I don't know, there are so many.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think people have many answers for this question in many different senses, and so do I. I think it's nice I've already spent one week travelling in a poor rural village in the interior of Brazil, as I've already spent one week traveling around the region of the cosmopolitan and rich New York City, they're completely different worlds and realities and you can feel it, both experiences surprised me and having the opportunity of thinking about this big contrast, for example, is a thing I think is awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be pleased to hear people tell histories and talk about the culture and other aspects of the place they are from, and I'd like as well to tell them about mine if they're interested.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Paraguay, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United States, Uruguay
