ABOUT ME

I'm a 36 years old rambler. I lived in three different cities in Portugal, in Amsterdam, Bologna, Barcelona and México, back to Barcelona, New York and now Paris (for the last 3 years). I speak fluently English, Portuguese and Spanish.

My academic career is also a reflection of my rambling addiction. I started as a Civil Engineering but soon changed to Computer Science to finish it in the Netherlands. After leaving Amsterdam I decided to start a master in biological sciences and enrolled myself in Bioinformatics in Italy. Living with a guy paranoid with organization made me move to Barcelona, where I finished writting my master thesis. Back there I got lost in that wonderful city and everyday my passion with science decreased. I bought a reflex and fell in love with photography. Finishing my thesis I move to central america for a year 'just' to travel and take pictures. Here are some of the pictures, if you are interested:

After living five months back in my hometown, I'm back in Barcelona doing a PhD in Computational Neuroscience and I am now starting my own research group in Paris.

My friends call me lunatic, dirty and distracted. And I like it.

I love music and other kinds of art. You should be warned that I have some leftist tendencies ;)
