About Me

Hi!
I'm a 22 yo veterinary medicine student from Porto, Portugal. I also have a great passion for languages and cultures and I am eager to meet people from all over the world. We could do language exchange, or perhaps just tell jokes or share insight.
I do love my hometown so if you're around I could show you a few sweet spots.
I love to write and watch movies.
Veeeeeery amateur birdwatcher. Birds and cats are a big passion of mine (animals in general). Pet owners as hosts are more than welcome!!!
I do smoke, but if you're hosting me and you're not comfortable with that I obviously will respect your space and won't smoke :)
I have been a vegetarian for about 9 years now. If you're in Porto I can recommend you good veggie restaurants, and if I'm abroad I'd greatly appreciate advice. We could discuss the topic (and no, I won't try to indoctrinate you ;) ).
Gay, so please, respectful people only.
I can't host because I still live with my mom and brother and she's quite strict with who comes home. However, I'm definitely willing to meet up and show you around Porto!!! 😀

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, do some language exchange, share my enthusiasm for my hometown and possibly find people that can host me in their own cities.
Show me the best spot in town to see the views, be amazed and maybe reminisce a little!
I love languages because it allows me to better connect with people. Let's talk, you guys!

MUSIC
Hard to narrow it down to specific artists. I love a really wide range of genres, from techno to hip hop, from world music to the sleaziest pop. :p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've pretty much done surgery almost by myself on several animals... i guess that's badass?
Probably my most memorable abroad experience thus far was Campamento DiverGente in Cubillos del Sil, Spain, a week where I learned a lot about physical/mental/cognitive disabilities and, most importantly, met people who inspired me for life.
Besides that, Andanças, a very sui generis world music/dance/yoga/meditation/you name it festival in Portugal, changed my perspective on the world too. I still think about the lessons I learned there to this day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some words in European Portuguese (yes I can teach you swear words too but you have to use this great power responsibly) and random animal and geography facts... and I can be the life of the party too with the right music and ambience :P

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fun, insight, jokes, cool tips and spots around Porto, help with whatever they need, a buddy to go out with (definitely), ...
