Hey! My name is Joaquín and I'm a 24 years-old almost-economist from Uruguay. I'm literally 30 minutes away from graduating since I only have my thesis defense left. Once I get the title, I don't have the slightest idea of what to do with it, tho.

I'm currently traveling around Perú and maybe then Ecuador and Colombia, but I don't have a planned route.

Besides researching the effects of a public policy or maximizing functions, I also enjoy moving my body a lot. I have recently finished the first year of the Contemporary Dance career at the National Dancing School.

I enjoy all kinds of music and I'm a hell of a party guy. I love dancing and going out with friends, a good rave is always a good plan.

I like to think of myself as someone open-minded, outgoing and thoughtful. I like caring for others and whenever I'm in charge of some plan, I give my best for the rest to enjoy themselves. I'm also the kind of friend that would do anything for his pals. At the same time, I know I should be a little more careful and modest, but hey, nobody's perfect. I'm a huge fan for new knowledge and also a fast learner, so I get easily bored.

I like to argue about politics, economics and current affairs. I'm always up for a clever discussion, tho I have to say I can sometimes raise a bit my voice if I get to excited. Anyhow, I've improved a lot in the art of breathing in and breathing out, so I guess I'm no threat to no one.

I daydream everyday and remember almost every dream I've had when I wake up. I do get distracted easily and find myself thinking nonsense.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Three weeks ago I took a plane for the very first time in my life, travelling thousands of kilometers to finally visit my best friend's homeland, Norway.
At the moment I'm travelling by myself for a week through northern Germany and thought this could be the perfect time to start couch surfing.
