29 year old, fun and relaxed at home, serious at work. I love to travel and keenly learn languages. After checking out this website, I focussed on a trip to Cuba but am looking to this website as a long term thing.

Current long holiday plans include Cuba (Eastern half), Thailand, Argentina, Bolivia, Israel, South Africa and Brasil.

I also travel to India once a year on average and harness any opportunity on a weekend trip in Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do most of my short trips/vacations with friends and/or family. My work also helped me travel a lot upto now. I have kept a few romantic places aside for later visits like Rome, Florence, Vienna, Venice, Australia, Indonesia, etc :)

It's tougher to get friends to sign-up to longer trips though due to family, financial or calendar issues.I think couch surfing is a good medium to meet with new people especially for the long term holidays. It's an opportunity to learn first hand the culture, society, economic issues etc from the residents themselves.

Hopefully I will meet a lot of interesting people through/on this site.
