Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Joaquim. I've been based in Boulder, Colorado for the last 3 years, and loving the fresh air. I was a pizzaiolo, and pastry chef before quitting my job and travelling a few months. Came back from an unforgettable motorcycle journey through northern India into Ladakh with my father.
Je suis francais, mais nee aux etats unis. Ma famille habite a Nice, et j'essaye de les voire au moins une fois par an.
J'aime enormement le trail, la montagne, les motos, le yoga, la meditation, et tout ce qui se passe dehors!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have had couchsurfing for several years now, but have never used it! I have hosted many friends of friends at my house in Colorado, and have received the same treatment as well. I was very grateful for those moments.
However, as I get older I find it even more adventurous to travel alone, and try to make authentic local connections with the surroundings I find myself in.
Interests
I very much enjoy endurance mountain running, and snowboarding. I run ultramarathons, and was a snowboard instructor. I also have done a 200 hr yoga teacher training in Costa Rica, and always enjoy mindfulness conversations.

Music: There is good and bad music in almost every genre. I do not limit myself to one type but go with the flow of what I'm feeling.
Books: Born to Run, Eat & Run, Tao of Physics, The Third Plate, Omnivore's Dilemma
Movies; Documentaries, Docu-Series
