Hi everybody! My name is Joaquin (29), but you can calle me "Jota" and currently I'm living in Madrid with my parents.

A little bit about me:

I'm a spanish guy, I have a passion for aviation and geography and I think that those are the seeds that have grown my main passion: TRAVEL.

For the moment I've been in 44 countries arrund the world.

So you are wondering... where do your travel passion come from?

My passion for travelling, started when I went to Brussels to spend a year as an erasmus student. It was an awesome experience because it was the first time that I lived alone and I met a lot of great people.

I love meeting, interesting and diverse people around the world, connecting with them and learning about them. I think that couchsurfing is a good oportunity to connect with the local people and to travel in a different way as we use to do.

I would love to be your guest and learn everything about you and your culture, and of course I would be able to show everything about the spanish culture. I can ensure you that it will be an enriching experience for both.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like this idea! As I said in my description, I think that couchsurfing is a different way to travel. All my life I've been travelling with my family and we always went to hotels in our hollidays. But I think that kind of stablishments it's not as warm as a local people might be. If you travel as a tourist you will never meet the locals because you are surrounded by tourists who know the same that you about them. This is why I'm on Couchsurfing, to learn everything about the local people, that's a thing that has not price.

Music: I love absolutelly all kind of music, but i have a pasion for TECHNO!

Movies: what a difficult decission... we can talk about movies during years, I LOVE cinema.

Books: well... I'm not a big fan of books, I know that sounds uncultured but it's the true xD
