Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Patagonia Argentina, climbing mountains, camping with friends, skiing the high peaks, cycling off road connecting beautiful lakes and volcanoes.
At the age of 19 I went to La Plata (60 km away from Buenos Aires) to study electrical engineering, i also started to play trumpet in bands: salsa, jazz, latin rock, reggae, cumbia and in an orchestra too!, it was awesome fun. My last two years living there I was teaching trumpet and music theory in a music school, best job ever.
After 9 years living in La Plata, city I love, i leaved everything and started a journey without a date to go back! Starting with the coast of Uruguay for 2 months, loads of Brasil for 2 years, Amazon for 4 months, Caribbean of Venezuela for 2 months, mountains and ocean of Colombia for 2 months, the Altiplano of Bolivia for 2 months, the Fiordland of Chile for one month.
After that i went back to Argentina to my family and friends, it was a long journey with out many people i love but i learned so much about life and my self that I feel I became a better person, at least I felt that when I re encounter my self with the people that was by my side my whole life.
I decided I wanted more and go beyond my plans. I applied for a W&H in Australia for one year, to land far away than mine, and where thing work complete different than I was used to. I learned good English and work in thing that i would never imagine i would work, huge experience.
Now it's the time for NZ, I met my mother and brother in Auckland, went for an outstanding road trip around both islands and filled our eyes with this amazing country that reminds me a bit of my home land... and I love that.
After all this stories and surprises: here I am, I trust my self and say YOU DON'T ALWAYS NEED A PLAN.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because a i find it a very intresting tool to travel, meeting places and their people. I also choose to hitchhike sometimes and it's common to end in places that you don´t know at all, couchsurfing is a good option then!
