H everyone :) my name is Joaquin, I was born and raised in Chile, but I belong and I don't belong everywhere (I don't have to agree with myself). After I graduated as a mechanical engineer and worked for a few years, I decided to give my life a turn and I started to travel, I lived in New Zealand, Australia and Japan with a working holiday visa, And I have also visited several countries in Asia and Europe. Due to the pandemic I returned to my homeland and I studied to be programmer, now I'm ready to move again, meet new places, cultures and people. In October I will travel around Europe for 3 months and then start an English course in Ireland, Back in 2010 I visited Germany, Italy and Czech as a tourist, visiting most popular and touristic places, but now I want to meet the culture and the people, hopefully finding my dream place to settle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of share with different cultures, I give them a little of me and they give me a little of them. I don't have my own house, but when I get the chance I want to recibe people of different parts of world.

When I lived in Japan I also had the opportinity to accept couchsurfers at my home, and it was an amazing experience, I was able to meet incredible people and being able to share a little of my experience with them.

I like to read Marvel Comic and epic fantasy books (Lord of the Rings, Eragon, The song of ice and fire, etc), superhero TV Series and videogames.
In music, I like classic rock: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Queen. But I enjoy all kind of music
In movies I'm fan of Star Wars Trilogy, Back to the future trilogy, TLotR trilogy, also I enjoy Jim Carrey's movies
