ABOUT ME

I am 27years old, born and bred in England. I did psychology at Nottingham University and then explored the world for 3 years. Whilst in New Zealand I managed to get a job in a winery for harvest. It was hard work but I enjoyed it so now i'm back home in England working in a winery full time and completing a MSc in Oenology & Viticulture parttime.

PHILOSOPHY

urm...not much of a philosophical person so i guess just the standard, you only get one life so live it exactly how you want. I believe in carma, you'll get back what you give.

My main interest over the last 2 years has been wine! I never saw this happening (especially with a psychology degree!) but I started with making it and now gradually getting into the tasting it bit!! not the usual way round but hey..

Before that it was travelling. I started quite young and have taken every opportunity to go throughout my life so far. Before University I went to Tanzania for 3 months and had an incredible time staying with Masai, working in a school and even got to go on a couple of safaris!! since then I haven't really stopped. After Uni I started in Brazil, spent 6 months in South America and just continued from there, working and travelling...Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, Vietnam, California, Cambodia, Thailand back to New zealand etc etc etc. I've met a lot of fascinating people, cultures, eaten great food and done quite a bit of hiking (whenever I can). Nothing better than getting to the top of a mountain.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Met a true legend called Antonio in Manaus (city near the Amazon) who told us about a friend of his in the jungle who had 5 kids, half a house and her husband had just left her. So we bought the materials we needed, slept in a hammock in the Amazon jungle for three weeks and managed to finish her house for her! Incredible experience. Ate a lot of fish!!
