About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to finish my PhD and to not die trying!
ABOUT ME
After 3 years of living in Germany and one big moving event, I am now at the point, where it's somehow not so easy anymore to meet nice interesting people just for the sake of meeting nice interesting people! So I'm giving it a try here :-)
There's nothing more egocentric than making a description about yourself (besides one for a job application!), so what about this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUcXI2BIUOQ
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live!
Life is short and (most probably) senseless, so I try my best to make the most of it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The first time I heard from CS was from a friend that regularly hosts and visits other CSers, I found the idea extremely cool and relaxed.
The second time was during a visit in Colombia, where I was invited to a CS meeting and had a big surprise as to how many people use this tool to travel around the world.
The next step was of course to try it myself!
Interests
Can procrastination be an interest?
Can partying be an interest?
Since I came to Germany, I went from being (or believing to be) totally apolitical to start reading three to four newspapers daily, mostly news from Colombia but also Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung. Politics turned out to be so entertaining, especially in Colombia, it's better than any soap-opera. In that sense, I'm pretty liberal, so I enjoy discussing about the still disappointing situation of women or why the church should not decide when we should go shopping, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Everyday comes with lots of amazing things that... no, no, wait, that's not true... we all know many days simply suck big time!
but once, on a train from Paris, someone actually tried to buy ME. No, not my jacket or my shoes, ME! it was very very scary and since I thought such things didn't really happen outside of TV, I was pretty amazed ;-)
Teach, Learn, Share
Moi, j'aimerais pratiquer mon français!
I am a biologist, so in anything related to that I might be of some help.
And, I know quite a few stories about my crazy country, just in case you're interested ;-)
