About Me

Hello!
We are an English family, travelling in our van across France. We spend a lot of time parked up in forests or by rivers or lakes, exploring wild places, foraging, reading, playing.
Our son Ezra is almost 2 years old, he is picking up new words every day, in English and in French. He is very active, friendly and outgoing.
My partner Daryl has lived in France before and speaks French fluently. He is is studying French at University so we are hoping to find some people he can practice speaking with. I am a complete beginner but eager to learn.
We are also hoping to come across some other children as Ezra is starting to miss the company of his friends.
We are completely happy to sleep in our van and can cook, drive, wash ( a proper shower or a bath would be wonderful though!) so we would be quite easy to host, we only ask for some company and a little local knowledge.
We are very much looking forward to meeting anyone who would like to meet us, French speaking would be ideal for Daryl to practice with bit even if you are just travelling through like we are, send me a message and we will try to find you!
Looking forward to making some new friends in this beautiful country.

Witnessed a piano being destroyed with an axe in the forest, the sound of creativity/destruction echoing through the trees is something I will never forget.
