ABOUT ME
I am a bit quiet and reserved and probably smile too much when meeting new people for the first time. I prefer to listen to others, but if you get me started talking about soccer or science I will leave you with a handful of new diagrams and theses.
I have a lot of different interests - cooking, reading, politics
- so it's probably just best to meet me and see what happens.

Movies: Spirited Away, Double Indemnity, The Philadelphia Story, The Apartment, Some Like It Hot, Star Wars (the real ones, aka IV through VI), The Lives of Others

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Watching the stars rise and set from the deck of a tall ship.
2. Hiking to the foot of Denali in Alaska - when the clouds blew away, there was suddenly 11,000 vertical feet of rock and ice before us.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to know the basic constellations and star names - and we're in a good viewing location - I can give you a halfway decent tour of the night sky (and for extra credit, teach you the rudiments of celestial navigation, should you ever become lost at sea). I would also love to chat and share knowledge about anything science, football, or food related.
