Overview
About Me
I'm enthusiastic, friendly, and a great listener. I bring positive energy to life and love meeting new people and visiting new places where I can explore and be out in nature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In March 2013 I left the states with my boyfriend, Nathan Scheidenhelm, to get TESOL certified to teach english. We spent two wonderful months traveling through Vietnam and then lived and taught in Ho Chi Minh City for about seven months. Since February we've been traveling through Southeast Asia and are really interested in couchsurfing as a fun change from the hotel/hostel scene and way to meet awesome people with knowledge of the area. No previous couchsurfing experience. We will definitely be happy to host in Colorado once we have a couch again in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading and have so enjoyed the extra time to indulge while traveling. One of my favorites is The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I enjoy reading popular series as well as suspense, adventure, historical...give me a book and I'll read it!
All music is welcome, some of my favorites are Atmosphere, State Radio, Dotan, Cut Copy, Grieves...such a hard question to answer, I always enjoy finding new bands.
Comedies and action are best, and I'm very nostalgically excited they're making a new Jurassic Park movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Leaving the comfort of home to live and travel abroad which has led to many amazing moments.
Teach, Learn, Share
So happy to discuss anything and everything. Share a beer, cook a meal together, do an activity. Looking forward to learning about our host(s) and the area they live in.
