About Me
Hi, I'm 40 years old and live in lovely Vevey, 2 minutes away from the lake, where I like to bathe all year round. I live on my own in a nice, old, stylish apartment in the old town, close to everything. In 2020 I'm took a break from work in order to travel and write. I left to walk along the Via Francigena, from Canterbury to Rome, on...March 3rd. So yeah, that didn't go as planned, I had to go home after 2 (wonderful) weeks. Now, two years, one pandemic and one cancer later (yeah, 2020 was intense), I'm finally starting off to resume my walk where I left it (Saint-Quentin). I look forward to discovering places and meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm walking the Via Francigena, all the way from Canterbury to Rome (March to June). I’d love to meet great people along the way. Whenever I finally return home, I'll happily host travelers too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2020 has been intense for everyone, but I had the great idea to combine midlife crisis+pandemic+cancer. Not amazing but pretty intense. It's made this walk even more important now.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’ll be walking most of the day with me and myself, so I’ll be very keen to socialize in the evening, cook for/with my hosts, chat and get to know them as much as one evening allows (as I’ll be moving on to the next stop every day).
