Hello!

I'm Jochem, a 21 year old student. Since three years, I've been living in Amsterdam. At the University I study Journalism. In the near future I would love to be a documentary maker. Making beautiful films of people and groups of people who inspire me. Furthermore, I would love to become a teacher at a secondary school teaching society science.

In my spare time I love to do cultural activities like visiting museums and going to theaters. I also love doing and watching sports.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only as a journalist but also as a human I'm interested in the world we're living in. When I was studying in Denmark with other internationals from all over the world, I realised how beautiful and important it is that we can share our ideas, traditions, etc. with each other. Couchsurfing is a great way of doing this.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and visiting festivals. Pearl Jam is #1. Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, PJ Harvey, Radiohead deserve my vote as well!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
