I was born near Leiden. Grew up in Leiden. Moved to Amsterdam for five years. Studied a bit... Returned to Leiden, where I now live together with Esther, who has a similar migrationhistory. Although we do miss Amsterdam sometimes, we enjoy the unique city of Leiden.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We cycled to Normandy, France a few years ago... Not that amazing. But very intense and nice. Last year we took a cruiseship to the USA, bought a car in Florida, drove to Cali and back and in between flew to Costa Rica: a lot of miles, a lot of fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a lot about The Netherlands and Europe, since I'm a historian. I know my share about (military) aviation: one of my biggest passions. I've worked in a wineshop for years which gave me a good deal of knowledge about wines. We both like good food and wines.
We are eager to learn everything... Enlighten us!
