ABOUT ME

Well I'm a student, a traveler, a musician and mainly, a person amazed at just everything. I love trying new things, meeting new people, seeing new places... I talk a lot, sometimes maybe a bit more than the others like, but a slight notice can quieten me. I sing with an a capella group and play the guitar or sometimes even some more instruments, I dance ballroom and latin dances. I am a tea addict - I really love good tea and spend lots of money for it. I like culture, films, theater, and love reading. You don't meet me without a book. I'd like to travel all the world, I really enjoy meeting people - I like just like them, have lots of friends and want to have even more of them. As I'm betting older, I'm getting to like mountains more and more. Each time I finish some mountaineering trip, I start to thinking another one and there is always the same question: What about something more difficult?

PHILOSOPHY

I don't judge people at all or at least try not to do so. Also you don't see me angry. Life is too short for being angry. I think the world is nice and OK, the question is, if you are OK too.

Interests

I'm interested in almost everything, but mainly: Music - I like especially jazz, rock'n'roll (the old one), a bit of rock and classical but sometimes I even listen to some other styles. I play the guitar and I take lessons of singing too. I also dance a lot - ballroom and lathin dances.
Reading - I'm not able stay be without some book longer time. I'm trying to read every minute of my odd time.
Traveling - This is really a big one for me. I´d like to see all the world and meet as many people as possible. Nowadays, mountains are the place where I tend to go mostly. Meeting interesting people is also a great thing - I like talking and if somebody wants , we can talk for hours and hours...
Tea - I love good tea served in traditional way, especially green, white and Oolongs from China, Japan, and Formosa.
And there are some more little things I sometimes do in my odd time - playing instruments I'm not able to play, so it mostly sounds horrible when I try it (flute, violin...), playing with toys like RC aircraft models, taking photos with my 30-years old PRAKTICA camera, rock climbing and so on.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like jazz in almost all of its forms - Glenn Miller, Ray Charles, Scott Joplin, Miles Davis, John McLaughlin, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Chick Corea, Sarah Morrow and many, many others. I also listen to lots of other music from The Beatles through Norah Jones to Stereo Total.
About books, I love reading and I have many favourite authors, for instance G.G. Marquéz, Kurt Vonnegut, Karel Čapek, Jack Kerouac, Milan Kundera, Richard Brautigan...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done the longest mountain glacier trek in the world - the Biafo-Hispar traverse in Pakistan, without a guide or porters. It was just amazing experience, 15 days of beautiful mountains and total desolation. Go for it if you like mountains as much as I do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I really speak a lot, but I don´t know how much do my listeners learn from it. You have to ask them :-)
Well I can talk hours and hours about tea, I consider myself pretty skilled in it. I also work in a tearoom, so there is a nice place for showing examples.
I could also possibly show some basic dance steps or guitar chords those who are interested in, but I'm not really a dance/music teacher. As I'm getting more and more climbing and mountaneering experience, I can show you some technique stuff, I also work in an Outdoor shop, so I've got some knowledge about the equipment.
