ABOUT ME

I haven't used couchsurfing for a couple of years and had actually thought i deleted it which i hadn't so i'm now updating it and putting it into action again.. :)
I was born and brought up in a really beautiful place in the middle of the Uk and i came to live in Greece when i was 21 so i kind of consider myself half greek half english but often feel neither which leaves me wondering! But anyway,most of my time here in Greece was spent on an amazing greek island close to the coast of Turkey where i worked and grew up and kept my family. Growing vegetables, keeping animals picking olives and making olive oil.. you name it..
Since last year i have based myself in Athens but have been travelling around a good deal. Everybody seems to think i'm this calm relaxed person so there must be something in it! i'm friendly and open minded and care about other people. I love to travel and meet new people while exploring the unknown..(to me at least).. and discovering my limits and surpassing them.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.. to try to be a decent human being and be happy.. and to try to live in the moment. Without that you miss so much.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I made a profile a few years ago but then put it in the freezer as i wasn't able to host anyone and then just forgot about the site until friends recently reminded me and i re-opened the doors again!I hope to have some great experiences both as a host and as being hosted!

兴趣

I love so many things.. travelling and meeting wonderful new people and indeed travelling alone which i have recently discovered is possibly the best way to go!Such a soul strengthener!
I love gardening in the garden on the island (when i get chance) tending the flowers and growing the veg, swimming in the clear blue aegean sea in summer, walking and some running in winter. Cooking for friends and loved ones, reading, watching good movies,spending time with friends, massage,exploring new places,doing new things i haven't done before.

Having kids and watching them grow and finding joy in the knowledge that you are able to contribute something to help them along the way.
Being brave enough to travel alone in asia, finding out its the best way to go and loving it.
