About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To pet a panda

ABOUT ME

I just graduated from UC Berkeley, but my passion for traveling has kept me unconfined in one place for too long. I go wherever the wind blows me, or wherever my next train/car/bus/plane/horse takes me. I've lived in 6 countries, and I'm always down for a new adventure. I love meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. Whenever I visit somewhere new, I look past the tourist destinations and try to really get a sense of what's going on behind the scenes.

I dislike sports, but I enjoy going to matches and yelling along with the fans.

I can't swim, but I've rafted on the Nile and snorkeled in Indonesia.

I've taken two cooking classes, but I can still barely chop onions.

As you can see, my life doesn't entirely make sense. My motto is to to go with the flow and enjoy whatever is coming your way. Life's too short to not live it the way you want.

After traveling to so many places, I've realized that people everywhere are the same. Cultures and societies differ, but we are all human. We all face difficulties and struggles, and we all search for happiness. Ironic that you need to go to different countries to truly realize that differences don't matter. It is the similarities and linkages that remind us of our humanity.

PHILOSOPHY

There is no rewind button.
