About Me

I am a backpacker/hitchhiker, resourceful kind of traveler. I have a lot of energy and curiosity. I love the outdoors, animals, music, yoga and other generally fun stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a host: I genuinely want to meet like-minded people, travelers, curious and thoughtful souls. I also ideally would like to help out other women or couples on the site who have a hard time finding hosts that make them feel welcome and comfortable because I know it can be tough for those populations.

As a traveler: I love sharing and receiving info with and from other travelers. To me, this is the best way to learn and move forward. I want to fill my life with meaningful experiences and learn just about everything there is to know about people and the world, so couch surfing gives me access to networks outside of my own that I might not otherwise get to experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently on a bit of a Vonnegut kick, but I make it a point to not choose favorites!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked from France to southern Italy in the winter

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a pretty good cook and baker and I love to share food. I can give inspiration and maybe a bit of advice about hitchhiking and traveling as a solo woman. I would love to learn how to play the guitar better and I'm also working on becoming fluent in Spanish so I like to try and speak with anyone who's fluent and pick up words as they come. I just moved to NYC so I'd love to meet anyone with connections in the city.... I'm looking for friends to go outside with, play music with or even just have a beer with!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Music, meaningful conversation, food, a listening ear and one magic trick!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, Vatican City State, Viet Nam
