Overview
About Me
I am Jamaican, so I have a great love for white sand beaches, rum, chill people and spicy food. I am currently working as an ALT in Japan, studied computers in college, previous job a project manager. Some may ask why the switch, I was getting bored in my last job, and I’ve always wanted to see and experience different cultures, and meet new people.
I don’t want to live with regrets, and I believe all our experiences are integral in shaping who we are as individuals. With that said I am on my quest for exploring and learning new cultures and new things.
I am easy to get along with, very much a planner, and I am currently learning how to appreciate the simple things in life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the idea is golden! It is a great opportunity to see how people from different countries live on a day to day basis. The experience is far different from staying in a hotel being waited on hand and foot. It is also very cost effective. I hope to travel the world and this is a great medium for meeting new people and learning about different cultures.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movie: The Blue Lagoon, Finding Nemo, K-dramas, Inception, The illusionists, Shawshank Redemption.
Books: Memoirs of a Geisha, The Secret Garden, Great Expectation, Pride & Prejudice.
Music: Not an extreme music fan, I would say my favorite genre is a cross between Indie and Pop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing seriously amazing just yet! Will change soon I hope!
