I am a single mother to an 8 year old boy and will probably have guests on the nights he with with his father. I work in Corporate America as an IT Project Manager and my hobby/passion is photography. I grew up on a farm as a minister's daughter, but my journey in life has brought me to focus on being spiritual verses religious.

I giveback through my photography and my heart has a special spot for children fighting battles that no one should have to. I photograph children with cancer, in the NICU and preparing for my second visit this year to an orphanage in Honduras.

My favorite pet is my son's fainting goat and the most life changing trip I ever had was to Black Rock City.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new and interesting people. I met someone who was couchsurfing in Paris and watched their amazing connection happen. We bonded during that time. As a child my parents had missionaries staying in our house and they were some of the best connections my parents made in their life. Thought I would give it a try.

Giving back, art, Wisconsin, being kind, creating, laughing, meeting amazing people, being nonjudgmental. I love yoga, doing open mic poetry slams, biking around the city and ballroom dancing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Love, kindness and acceptance. A cozy home that hopefully feels like an escape, that feels like a home of safety. In the winter I have a fireplace and in the summer I have a balcony with a reading chair and great people watching.
