About Me
Hello couchsurfing community!
My name is Jodie and I am now living in Milan in Italy for my studies. Unfortunately, I cannot host anyone because of the rules of the building, but I would still be happy to hangout :)
I love geocaching around the world, discovering unfamous incredible spots, practicing my skills in languages, and learning about the world.
I am very curious and easy to catch on to everything.
--> Proud vegetarian for 5 years !!
2023 : I was 18 and used couchsurfing for the first time. Little did I know that the community would become so important for me ! I traveled around Europe by train for 3 months, alone, with my backpack and my interrail ticket. I visited 14 countries and learned so much about myself. it was a memorable experience, one of the best in my life so far, and mostly thanks to the incredible couchsurfers that hosted me along the way ♥️
In the summer of that same year, I went to Petrinja, a small town in Croatia, to volunteer for 2 months. From there I also went to Serbia and Bosnia and fell in love with the Balkans (I really consider discovering more of it in the future)
After this year full of new challenges, I settled in Aix-en-Provence for my studies. I love this city so much, and I am not saying this because I am from the South of France myself… :)
2024 : In May, I went to Canada. It was amazing, not only for all the incredible people and hosts I met there, but also because I had never traveled that far all by myself.
Travel story to be continued :)
I am very excited to meet you all and hear your travel stories :)
See ya
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The values of the community resonate in me. Giving without expecting, meeting new people, hearing new stories...
I think meeting new people is more important than following my initial plans so I am ready to cancel or totally change my plans to meet you. That being said, I also learnt, by solo traveling, to appreciate my own company.
