I used couchsurfing a lot during my gap year. I travelled across Europe by train, alone, with my interrail pass for 3 months.

After this amazing and challenging year, I am finally settled I Aix-en-Provence for my studies.

First of all, I am a very curious person. I mean, how can you not be curious about the world that surrounds us ?🌍 There is so much diversity to explore. I am very easy to catch on to everything. You want to show me your art ? Hobby ? Sport ? I will want to learn it too !

I am sometimes a little bit impatient. I want to achieve all my dreams and projects now, and I am doing this huge effort of relaxing and taking my time. I feel like it is a need because our society always wants to go faster and faster : fast food, fast clips on tik-tok, faster technology… We are losing this experience of enjoying a simple process. “Chi va piano, va sano, e va lontano.”

📎Among my pleasures in life : enjoying a meal with my family, learning new skills, nature, looking at the stars, playing music, EATING.
🍔Talking about food, I have been vegetarian for more than 4 years now but I also love vegan meals. I love cooking, and most of all cooking desserts🍪

🌳Being eco responsible is also something I try to do everyday. I recycle, pay attention to what I eat and buy, reuse bottles, don’t buy new clothes, travel by train, try to produce less waste…

Also, according to me, communication is the most important thing. If you are not able to tell what you think to your neighbor, how do you expect him to guess how you feel ? And how can you satisfy his needs ? Many stories haven’t been heard yet because of this lack of communication. That is why the world has always fascinated me. I want to learn as many languages as possible to be able to understand the world and convey incredible stories.
I love learning languages. If you speak one of the languages mentioned above, then I would appreciate chatting and practicing so much !

🔹️HOW I TRAVEL

👥I think meeting new people is more important than following my initial plans so I am ready to cancel or totally change my plans to meet you. That being said, I have to say that I also enjoy my own company, and that is something I discovered while traveling. You can do whatever you like when you want, eat what you want, even go to the same place twice without having to argue haha
but…I still find it difficult to make decisions. Yet there are so many beautiful places on earth and I am so indecisive !

I always try to do geocaching wherever I am. It is a great way to discover nice and calm areas inside a big city. If you like it too, or think you would like it, we can do it together :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I used couchsurfing for the first time, I fell in love with the values it conveys. I appreciate the idea of giving without expecting money, but giving back in any way possible or just becoming the perfect host. I love this community so much, that is why I wanted to become a host.

I love every kind of music but most of all rock and metal music such as Muse, Slipknot, Placebo. However I don't like rap music :)

I don't really often watch movies but my favourite one was by far Interstellar !

I enjoy reading very much, my favourite writers are Stephen King, Jules Vernes and a french writer called Marc Levy.

I think taking a gap year and traveling alone was my biggest ever adventure. I can tell you everything about it when we meet !
Becoming vegetarian has been one of my best decisions !
