I just finished traveling 6 weeks throughout Europe and it was such an amazing trip. My husband and I couch surfed for the first time and it was the most educational/fun/giving/selfless experience. We never expected to gain so much out of this, but meeting and staying with our hosts really made the trip and we want to give back by hosting. I am from the US and live in Australia with my husband. We met working on yachts in the Caribbean, got married, lived in San Diego for a while, and then moved here. We have a nice house and a spare bedroom if you are traveling South of Sydney (we live 1.5 hours South). I understand if you want to hang out or just use our house for a base for a few days. We love fire pits and our spoodle Blue, so if you don't like dogs, we might not be a good fit cause it's his house :0)
