About Me

I grew up in Southern California and have always wanted to travel the country. I love reading, watching movies, listening to live music, singing karaoke, and dancing. I also love playing softball and supporting local sports. I want to get into bowling and golfing, but haven't found a good teacher yet.

I love trying microbrews and would love to check out local pub quizzes (i'm a great teammate!) around the country.

I love being exposed to new cultures and trying new food.

I love to hike and try to find paths that have a great ending (vistas, waterfalls, cliff to jump off of into water, etc.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to make friends from around the world. I've only been to Canada and Mexico and would love to leave the continent and explore new places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped into Lake Tahoe (cannonball style!) - it was the bluest water I've ever seen, and the coldest I've jumped into.

Swam in the Boiling River at Yellowstone (kind of terrifying after dark)

Visited Chichen Itza and heard the Quetzalcoatl sound while clapping from a distance (i have a video of it...it's crazy sounding - the Mayas were genius!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you phrases in Spanish, how to make some Mexican dishes. I can also teach you how to dance balet folklorico - traditional mexican dance - I danced in college for 3 years.
I would love to learn how to speak German and Japanese since I want to travel there.
I can share an enthusiasm and love for new experiences. I am fun-loving and open-minded to trying new things.
