I’m currently travelling Australia for the first time, starting in Cairns and working my way around the East Coast and then over to Perth in the West. I’m hoping to get a work visa for Australia later this year and perhaps move here long-term, so this first trip is all for exploring, getting to know places and people!

I’m 31 years old, perpetual traveller, experience junkie and camera enthusiast. I’m from the UK, and most recently lived in Canada in the Rocky Mountains. I started travelling at the age of 18, when I moved to Honduras for an entire year to volunteer in rural schools. Since then, I’ve solo travelled around Europe, South America and North America, as well as lived/studied/worked in Honduras, Spain, Chile and Canada.

I studied B.A. Language and Culture in London, UK, and then after being in my Marketing career for a few years I went back to do an M.A in Documentary Filmmaking. Since taking a career break to travel Canada I’ve work in the snow sports industry and ski resorts, as a tour guide and shuttle driver in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, and a server in fine-dining restaurants.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’d love to connect with people throughout my trip and hopefully make a couple friends along my journey!
I've met so many interesting people when I have been travelling and have learnt so much from them so I'd love to continue this through couchsurfing!

Interests

I love photography and videography hence my decision to study Documentary Filmmaking for my Masters degree; I’m hoping to focus on these creative pursuits on my trip to document my travels.
