Hello!

I am born and raised in Ahuimanu, HI (but I am not Hawaiian). My natural state is a couch potato, but I'm always down to go for a hike or chill at the beach. I'm finishing up my last year of physical therapy school (whoohoo!).

RANDOM FACTS

I'm vegetarian, but I totally respect people's choices. Feel free to talk about your favorite recipes or dishes that involve meat, I love food and used to be an avid cooking show watcher.

I try not to be very materialistic, but I have a weakness for jackets

Alcoholic drink preference: beer, tequila, and whiskey (but I'll pretty much drink anything unless it's vodka)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great place to meet people I would normally never interact with. Also I've found that experiencing cultures through people is a great way to become a more open minded and empathetic person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I try to meet people and be the best surfer a host could ask for :)

I also am always up for hanging out with surfers while I'm home or traveling.

Unfortunately, I am unable to host people at my place in HI. I live with my parents and well, it's their rule not mine. One day I hope to contribute a couch though!

Music, Movies, and Books

I pretty much listen to anything that doesn't have screaming in it.

As with music, I'm pretty into all genres as long as they don't involve screaming (i.e. scary movies, unless it's more thriller, then I'm okay. But anything involving ghosts and shit, NO). I particularly enjoy superhero movies and comedies though.

I go through phases of reading where sometimes I can't get enough and sometimes I don't read at all. Right now I'm in a science fiction phase. It's crazy how far we've come in technology in the past decade and I can't help but want to know what things might be like in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went paragliding in Nepal.

I'm the youngest of four and have dabbled in all my siblings' hobbies I'm sure we could find something I can teach you :)

I'll try just about anything once, so if you have anything worth teaching I'm sure it's worth learning!
