ABOUT ME

I love to be out in the open. The sea is my deepest pleasure. and walking in forest....this is where I gather my strength and find peace

Modern art makes me tick. It awakens me to the world - and holds up a lens to everything that we are, for the good and for the bad. At the moment I am particularly into radical dance stuff - william forsyth, les ballets C de la B....I am totally stunned by what the body can express, what we can know without language....I also like many other artforms - music, visual art, cinema etc....

I 'do' Yoga, and meditation - it helps my mind be quiet for a while. The world can be so noisy sometimes! I think it is also important to connect with my body - she is going to carry me round for many years so i need to respect and make time to look after her!!

When I am not doing all of this quiet, peaceful stuff - I am an utter maniac!! Always darting round seeing friends, going to concerts, experiencing life and everything it has to offer....
I need the two - the quiet and the eventful....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to share experiences and knowledge with other people. I think this is the most important way we learn.
Life has so much to offer, we are all doors to different rooms...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch-surfed in Berlin with some friends - it was an excellent experience! and has made me positive and optimistic about future surfing!
i also met a few surfers who were staying at a friends place in london....he hosted for a long time so i got to meet a lof of couchsurfers and they were all fun and friendly people, with interesting conversations to be had!

SO far I have seen 13 babies being born. It is the most magical thing on the planet. It is Life, at it's very core. There is nothing quite like it.
