About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be happy and enjoy meeting and making new friends. Live to 100 with the spirit and mental agility of a 30 year old.
ABOUT ME
I am a mature graduate currently developing a career. I like to keep fit and regularly swim, run and cycle (not Ironman standard). I love the great doors and visiting new places both here in UK and when possible abroad. I like to eat fresh food and enjoy home cooking, making wine from wild ingredients and searching for bargains in charity shops or boot sales. I like to socialise and learn from people and their experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
Do as you would be done by is a fair example of my personal outlook on life. My philosophy is always look on the bright side of life. Dismiss negative thoughts. Remember, many links make a chain.
We cannot all be masters of everything we survey.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies, best has to be the Greenmile. Music, I like just about any type of music, so long as the lyrics are audible and intelligable. I am not taken with music or films that have swear words. I like books that tell a real story of life, particularly triumph over adversity.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I flew in a hot air balloon over the Blackmore Vale earlier this year. Fantastic experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to meet people from humble backgrounds. Learn a practical skill. If I cannot communicate with them, to observe and learn from their actions. I am like most English people am not a linguist. What special skills do I have, tricky question. Local knowledge of area, travel options, events, source contacts. This whole couch surfing is new to me so I am here to learn and share.
