Overview
About Me
I decided to lease out my home and travel for a year. I am doing a lot of camping and staying with friends so this seems like a reasonable step. I am currently traveling alone in my forerunner. I am interested in checking out the areas I travel through as well as my destinations. In those areas I am looking for art , wooded trails, museums, dive bars, neat old buildings, good beer on draft, historic sites, live music, BBQ, book stores and honky tonks.
I have my own kitchen stuff with me and would be stoked to be able to use that stuff in a real kitchen instead of campsite.
I also have my own bed setup, towels, soaps and toiletries, etc. I am self sustainable I just need a place to be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to have some real interactions with folks who live in the areas I visit. While I have not used CS before I have several friends who have and enjoyed it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of podcasts and thanks to every job Ive had for the last ten years I have logged thousands of hours listening to real conversations or small production shows from real interesting people. I think it's a very exciting time for spoken word audio of many sorts
Music- old timey of many sorts, western swing, jazz , bluegrass, punk, funk, certain country, blues, metal, hip hop, xhardcorex, marching bands, certain beats and computer generated music, bagpipes, ragtime, yadda yadda yadda
Books- I listen to more books these days, my main current recommendation is "Up in the Old Hotel"
movies- Either comedies or period pieces. I've never been into horror.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once got to climb up on a Mardi Gras krewe's parade floats in the warehouse the day after the parade. I found several bottles of liquor and some great masks.
Countries I’ve Visited
