ABOUT ME

I'm a college student with a love of travel and experiencing new cultures. I'm fluent in Mandarin and English although my English slang is much better.

I've traveled across many different countries doing research on a variety of topics including agricultural output in the Amazon and racial bias in the American South. I'm excited to be going to Iceland to interview a variety of people relating to the effort of what "brands" a location to the outside observer.

To understand a culture it makes sense to try to immerse yourself as much as possible. Not only this, but if I can meet others with a love of music and appreciation for whiskey I'm home regardless of the location.
